REVALDA™ STAINLESS STEEL TRACK SYSTEM
GAUGE G (IIm) – 45mm
It happened in 1990 when a park looked for profiles in stainless steel. Our suppliers could cover the demand and this was the start of stainless steel track making, which we took over in 1991 for distribution and in 2000 for our own production under REVALDA™. You obtain the identical track as before.
20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN MAKING STAINLESS STEEL TRACK
These are the advantages of stainless steel system
RESISTS TO ALL WEATHER as there is no oxidation, only the color
darkens slightly.
RESISTS TO UV RAYS The plastic materiel is treated against
UV-rays.
NEARLY NO MAINTENANCE As there is no coating of oxidation except
same dust and soil parts; the track is always
ready to be run.
COMPATIBEL You may combine this track with other
systems if made in code 332 profiles. Even it
can be used for gauge I = 1:32 if some
points are observed.
CONDUCTIVITY If you compare BRASS and STEEL profiles
in measuring the Voltage Difference, you
read it in Millivolts.
We produce small track pieces like 15, 16, 30, 31 and 60cm and curves of radius 60 and 75.6cm in 30cm pieces which are thought to be used inside at your home as real play circuit.
The bigger pieces and curves from radius 117.5cm upwards to 250cm are used outside and allow the real model rail fan to construct any installation without curving any track. Giant curves however made out of 119 in/300 cm pieces should be bent by a bending machine.
The switch R3 45cm combined with curved track R2 30cm will show a track distance of 6 in/15 cm only. We therefore had not to construct a switch with radius R1.
All feeder track has got welded wires leading to the connection terminals.
The profile joiners are also made of stainless steel. They possess a whole allowing to evaporate any water thus avoiding icing resp. blasting in wintertime. Further we made a spring in it to guarantee excellent electrical contact. You do not need any paste for contact which anyhow dries out.
And if you consider building curves like the “BRUSIO VIADUCT” (circle leading over the incoming track) in Switzerland, you start using track R 4 till R 10 at your discretion without bending any curves.
For feeding the track you should use at least 0.75mm2 diameter at home and for outside installation one should take 2.5mm2 into consideration. You avoid feeding all 10 feet.
